Chahoua Gecko genetics
Chahoua have no proven single-gene morphs either. The white patterning they're bought for is polygenic, and the split that actually matters to price isn't a gene at all — it's whether the animal is Pine Island or mainland.

- Morphpedia lists five entries for chahoua. Three are polygenic white patterning, one is a locality, and one is the normal. None of them is a recessive, dominant or incomplete dominant gene, so there is nothing for a Punnett square to work on.
- White collar, white shoulder and high white are the traits people pay for, and they're line-bred. Two heavily marked parents raise your odds of heavily marked babies; they don't give you a percentage.
- The distinction that moves the price is Pine Island against mainland. That isn't genetics, it's provenance — you either have the paperwork on where a line came from or you don't.
- Which makes this a records problem. Keep each animal's origin and parents recorded and you can prove a line to a buyer instead of asking them to take your word.
Localities
A locality is a place, not a look. It says which wild population a line descends from, and it passes down by pedigree rather than by any gene — which is why it can only be proved with records, and why a crossed line can never be uncrossed.
Traits no calculator can predict
MorphMarket Morphpedia classes these as polygenic or structural. They're real traits and they set prices, but they don't sit on a single gene, so no Punnett square predicts them. Anything quoting you a percentage for harlequin or flame is guessing.
